Rogers scores all-time cellular information and voice coverage in Canada: study
Rogers is taking the cake when it comes to coverage in Canada
A new report from P3, a global management consultancy company, states that Rogers offers slightly more cellular coverage in Canada compared to the other carriers.
Rogers doesn't border out Bong and Telus by much. Out of a total of 100 points, Rogers scored 857 points, Bell came 2nd with 837 points and Telus with 826.
The firm also scored Videotron with 515 total points and Shaw Advice'southward Freedom Mobile with 416.
These are the overall score totals per carrier, but P3 breaks the information down a scrap farther to represent both cellular data and phonation coverage. The telecoms could score a maximum of 600 points in the data section and 4oo for their voice coverage.
Rogers' Vocalization coverage scored the most points with 347 and its data coverage was ranked with 510 points. Respectively Bell got 355 voice points and 502 information coverage points. Telus' breakup gave it 496 voice points and 330 information points.
The visitor travelled 6,000km throughout Canada to test the carrier's networks and they used a Samsung Galaxy S9 to record the data. Overall, the company was able to exam data and vocalization connections for 61 percent of Canadians.
The company "measured smartphone vocalization and information performance based on extensive drive-tests – from major metropolitan areas to smaller cities, roads and railways, complemented by walk-tests in big cities with special focus on busy areas, on public send and infrequently visited buildings," reads the written report.
